About Kunlavut

Kunlavut is one of the best young badminton players in the world, but he didn't have an easy road on the way to the top. He has a chronic disease called Allegic Rhinitis that would send him to the hospital multiple times per week. At the age of 7 his father, a badminton coach, introduced him to the sport. Kunlavut recieved 2nd place in his first ever tournament which gave him all the encouragement he needed to continue playing and make his parents proud.

As a youth player, Kunlavut took the world by storm,dominating major international competitions. From 2016 to 2019, he put together a legendary streak of finishes that includes 2 Gole Medals, a Silver Medal, and a Bronze Medal at the Asian Junior Championships, a Silver Medal at the Youth Olypic Games in Buenos Aires 2018, and 3 Gold Medals and 2 Bronze Medals at the World Junior Championships.

Since jioning the senior circuit, Kunlavut has shown no signs of slowing down. In 2021, he took home Glod Medals in both Men's team and Men's signature at SEA Games and in 2022 he won the Silver Medal in Men's singles at the World Championships. He has started 2023 on the same note winning 2 BWF World Tour titles.

Kunlawut is currently the 3rd ranked Men's Badminton player in the world and will be of the favorites to win Gold at Paris 2024.
