Visa Announces Punnamas Vichitkulwongsa as Country Manager for Thailand

Visa, a world leader in digital payments, is pleased to announce the appointment of Punnamas Vichitkulwongsa as its new Country Manager for Thailand.

Punnamas has a wealth of experience in the payments industry, helming several leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer for Next Capital and Ascend Money, a Southeast Asia regional fintech unicorn. He also served as the Founding President for Thai E-Payment Association (TePA), where he represented licensed e-payment providers to collaborate closely with regulators to launch its national QR payment system.

Punnamas obtained an Executive MBA from Sasin School of Management at Chulalongkorn University and graduated with a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from the University of Washington, USA.
